TV Hosts Chastise Michelle Obama Watch Readers Reaction to Mexico-Haiti Trip---*cough* Lavaughn*cough*

This is Gina. We shot the first episode of Our East Wing, the television show based on this blog. I have come so far, I got the audio down... I think, now I need to add more lighting, but as you can see the chemistry between the hosts of the show is awesome. All of them are stars in their own right. Plus the conversation about the trip is a lot more interesting than the pablum offered up over at CNN and Fox News. We don't have these conversations very often anymore.
In this segment, the hosts read comments from this blog and react. by some quirk of fate I accidentally handed them two quotes from our resident curmudgeon, Lavaughn. As this was their first encounter with Lavaughn, they were not quite prepared for the patritude about Mrs Obama's travel to Mexico, which Lavaughn dismissed the First Lady's trip as a photo op. I loved the way Tiffany said "LaVaughn."
Lavaughn said: "Just another photo op! Nothing accomplished, traffic/everyday life disrupted for this “walkabout,” precious time and money spent on this tour just to make us “feel good” about another botched and wasteful US relief operation."
Their impromptu responses:
The hosts also responded to concerns from MOW reader Patricia about the timing of the First Lady's trip to Haiti and the response from international donors. Jeanne said " I think she went at just the right time." The hosts talk about the rebuilding effort.
It was a great show. We also had an interview with Amir Roohi of the American Red Cross of Central Texas, a What She Wore segment and they'll be talking about First Lady Laura Bush joining Twitter and the Library of Congress' decision to catalog and store all of our tweets.
The show will be airing on television here in Central Texas in the next week or so. But we'll be putting up clips here on the blog.

I enjoy it, I really did. Except I could have done without the mention of what that Lavaughn had to say.
LOVED IT minus Lavauhn statement!! We have to lift ourselves above the negatives, just like Potus and Flotus! When you start paying these people attention, you have empower them to continue with the hate. I say IGNORE them, period!!

@AMINAH HANAN......I thought somethng was spell N-O-T-H-I-N-G. So really you were trying to say, You knew "Lavaughn was good for NOTHING". Now that sounds right.
I want to say I was just kidding, but I wasn't.
Just as there will always be poisionous snakes, we will always have our LaVaughn's. You know her. The fat, ugly, underachiever who takes pleasure in throwing shade on anyone else recieiving praise to their valiant efforts, while she does nothing more than make love to her computer keyboard day in and day out looking for someone, anyone, to spew venom towards because she is such a colossal failure. Michelle is flying too high to care about what chickens like laVaughn are clucking about. I say ignore her and move forward.
