VIDEO: For Old Time's Sake

Greetings Michelle Obama Watchers! It's been a long time, but I'm back after a little blogcation. From some of the comments I read in a previous post I think it is safe to say that I was missed. It feels great to be back. Before I get back to all things First Lady, I had to post a video for old time's sake.

As many of you know I have always been a part of Team Desiree and nothing has changed. Although I was a little disappointed that I was not granted her first post White House interview, I have to admit that Ms Rogers' choice of Fox News Chicago's Robin Robinson gets no complaints from me.

Without further I ado I present to you, for the last time (until my post on the Real Housewives of DC coverage of the White House Gate Crashers that should be in jail) Ms Desiree Rogers...

The First Lady Visits Mississippi For Gulf Coast Brief

U.S. first lady Michelle Obama speaks to members of the Coast Guard, to get an update on efforts to contain the BP oil spill, at the Emergency Operations Center for Jackson County in Pascagoula, Mississippi July 23, 2010. REUTERS/Lyle W. Ratliff (UNITED STATES - Tags: POLITICS DISASTER ENERGY ENVIRONMENT) Michelle Obama took a visit to Mississippi today, for a briefing about the current status of the oil spill from the U.S Coast Guard. The primary purpose for the visit was not only to see how the gulf was holding up, but how the members of the Coast Guard were hold up as well. "So I want this to be a broader conversation. I want to know about the spill, about the challenges, what I can take back to the President, to the administration. But I also want to get a sense of some of the challenges that you’re facing and things we can do. As you know, I’ve made supporting military families one of my top priorities, and it’s important for me to know how things are going and what we can do to highlight and to shed light and to help provide some support to you and your families and to do a better job of it. So I want this conversation to be twofold"- Wh.gov.
